MC Lars debuts new single E-mail
Tackling corporate media conglomerates with humor and humility, post-punk rapper MC Lars turned to Rob Seals to co-write, co-produce, play on, and record the thought-provoking single "Missing White Girl Syndrome."

The Oakland, CA born and based artist is known for his clever, socially aware pop culture explorations and innovative videos.  The new single seems his boldest and darkest to date.

MC Lars notes on his blog:  "I uploaded a new song produced by my mentor and friend, LA musician Rob Seals. He produced the "Time Machine" track from the last record. Well, this new song is called "The Missing White Girl Syndrome", and is based on a media phenomenon you can learn more about by clicking here. This song has more serious lyrics than some of my other work and is based on a hook from a popular E-40 song. This song is not meant to be funny, even though the second verse has satirical implications.

I urge you to call your local news stations and call them on this bias."

The new album for MC Lars will be called This Gigantic Robot Kills and will drop in the fall of 2008.
