Known for her powerful pop vocals and catchy, melodic songs, this EMI Scandanavia artist is using her indie freedom in the US to make the kind of record she has always wanted to make. 

"I feel honored to work with someone so talented and centered here at The Sound Boutique Studios ," Rob notes.  "We made an acoustic demo of her song 'A Year in California' back in December, this brilliant one-pass live take.  I think we both realized that something magical happens when this woman sits at a great piano.  We wanted to recapture that for a full-length on the beautiful Steinway B we have, give audiences an unvarnished sense of who Ruut really is.  I'm excited about this project, and I'm excited for her to have the courage to pursue what matters most to her."

As if she weren't talented enough, Ruut will also be appearing in the Robert Downey Jr. blockbuster Iron Man 2.
